"I would strongly recommend not getting insurance through this agent. I have had State Farm auto insurance for years, and switched to this agent after moving to Washington. After two months, this agent dropped my car insurance because they did not have record of my Washington driver’s license. The agent never asked for my driver’s license when setting up the auto insurance or before cancelling my policy. Prior to cancelling my policy, they sent me an ambiguous letter which, upon calling for clarification, they told me was referencing my previous policy in the state I had left. They assured me that everything was in order with regards to my new Washington policy. Three months later, I accidentally scraped a car while parking and called State Farm to let them know a claim was going to be made. They told me I had been unknowingly driving without insurance for three months, and that the employee who had set up my policy without collecting appropriate information (driver’s license number), and had given me false information with regards to the aforementioned letter, no longer worked for the agent. Despite verbally recognizing how frustrating this situation is, the agent refuses to acknowledge that their employee made a mistake, and will not cover repairs for the small scrape. Given my policy was supposed to be active through the end of the year, I am fortunate to have discovered the lack of policy when handling a small parking incident, rather than a major accident. After this incident, State Farm has lost my business entirely and I obtained a much better deal on car insurance through a different company."
